I admit it! I have been a Disney fan ever since the premier of Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color in September, 1961. Of course I was not able to watch it in living color until 1968, the year we bought out first-nightmare-of-a-color-colored TV. During humanity's laborious and sad plight through a world of low-technicality, there were Disney movies to watch in theaters.
My easy favorites of old Disney movies are Mary Poppins, Fantasia, The Sword in the Stone, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Pinocchio, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and The Jungle Book. For newer Disney movies that I've watched with my kids my favorites are The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, The Rescuers, Mulan and Hercules. Don't try me but I can just about sing all the songs in these movies. My four daughters know all the songs too. Daughter # 2's favorite is Part of Your World from the Little Mermaid. Daughter # 4's favorite song is Reflection from Mulan. Mine is A Whole New World from Aladdin. Of course we have different favorites. I know that they my old favorites are not theirs for they have said that the old animations were not as great as the high-tech-3D-digital animations now. What about you? Do we have any common favorites?
Ethan is not yet a Disney fan. He likes Lilo and Stitch and Tarzan but he is more into newer animes and cartoons. I would really like to expose him to Disney cartoons. Luckily I found this incredible Disney Bingo game at Amazon.com and Drugstore.com. The game is from ScreenLife Games. The game offers a high-tech twist on Disney movies, songs and characters. The DVD Disney Bingo can teach Ethan learn numbers, colors, and matching skills with his soon-to-be favorite Disney characters and movie clips. Better get one now.
