I attended three graduation in rites in a week and in one of them, I was the guest speaker. It was hard talking to a bunch of graduates with hyperactive tendencies in an open area. Though the sound system was loud enough, it was hard communicating with the person in-charge of the sound and video system. The point persons on stage and off stage did not have headphones so they could hear each other amongst the din of  sounds. After the program I asked the stage soundman if they have headphones. He said the school has 2  akg k240 that they use for recording. They never actually thought of using them until I asked!Oh well, next time then.

D4's new sport is surfing. She's definitely a newbee but I guess she's better than other girls (and even men) out there who claim the title of surfer dudette and dude.

Do you know that erased data from your hard drive are not exactly erased? Somehow, all file types are still in the computer's hard drive even if you made sure that you have deleted all the files. It will only take a person with basic PC knowledge to retrieve all your personal files! If you are planning to sell your PC or laptop, make sure all the deleted files are really deleted, never to be recovered. Opt for a subscription to
wipe hard drive at Iolo.com. It can even wipe clean flash drives and cameras!

Real in Quezon province is not exactly a surfer's paradise  but for those who are looking for a cheap surfer's beach resort, this place would do. Located 145 km east of Manila, Real is the closest town (from Manila via the province of Rizal) that faces the Pacific Ocean. We took our chances at the Pacific Recreation Kamp. The place has its share of nipa-roofed four-post structures with the mandatory built-in bamboo benches and tables. The beach is pebbly and is actually the exit point of a fresh-water river. The ocean is blue, fresh and sparkling, but if you are into lazing around the beach in your bikini, forget it.  It's for surfing (beginners and the likes), skim boarding, paddling and long boarding.

Election time in the Philippines is just around the corner. We are bombarded with posters, jingles,  and radio & TV advertisements of candidates. The church's school was affected by the campaign period as no printing company wished to accept the printing of the school's graduation program and souvenir book. This circumstance forced the school the "print" 300 copies of  50-pages souvenir and graduation program. The job took more than  2 weeks. It was not an easy job to design, layout and print each page.

I wonder if opting for web to print software solutions would help the school with its printing jobs? I better inform the school IT to look into this.

We attended the Easter Sunrise service in our church. The service was set at 5:00 am but we all overslept that we came an hour and a few minutes late! Tabby was at her elements during the services. She kept on greeting everyone with a "hi" and a "flying kiss" gesture.
