After 14 months of intensive residency, daughter #3 is now a bonafide pediatric dentist. She's no ordinary general dental practitioner as she now specializes in treating pediatric cases. Do you know how hard it is to treat dental patients as young as a year old? Yup! I've seen a case where a three year old had to undergo dental treatment, dental pulp therapy, to be specific. Dental pulp therapy is a sort of a root canal for kids. The infected baby or milk tooth undergoes a mini root canal to save it from further decay. The treated tooth is then capped and ready until the permanent tooth comes out.
A pediatric dentist also treats mentally disabled or challenged children. Where sedation is needed, the dentist can give the normal medication for sedation. But if the child needs to go "sleep deeper" an anesthesiologist is needed. Dental care is expensive and most health insurances only include basics such as cleaning, extraction, and dental filling. I found a website that offers discounted dental plans from 10%-60% on most dental procedures including braces and implants. Go check out www.dentalplans.com.

Yung mixer ko...decor lang yun kasi di ako gano nag be bake....I used to do that weekly kahit pa cookie cookie lang kaso cutting on sweets kami....
