I have always fancied my self a "do-it-yourself-er". I just love doing stuff by myself first before I finally call on the help of a skilled worker or a professional to finish my botched job. My rationale? Well, what if I could have done the job myself? - save me money at the least. Most of the time, I do accomplish the job I set out to finish - well done or not, that's a matter of opinion. One of the many frustrations of my life is cutting hair. A long time ago, one of our maids expressed her wish to leave our household. She told my mother that she cannot stand my clipper cutting her hair anymore. The nerve?! I changed direction and concentrated on my nephews. When my 6 and 7 year old nephews refused to go to our house (and their mothers started giving me dirty looks) I stopped my obsession. When I had kids of my own, the only thing that I cut were their bangs - lopsided at that.
I finally saw an easy way to learn clipper cutting techniques Hah! Finally I can learn the fundamentals of the right way to cut hair. I can avail of instructional DVDs prepared by professionals to learn the "aesthetics" of hair cutting. There are sample haircutting videos at the site.
