"In today's worldwide state of economy, it is wise to invest in something solid," said my friend. True. It is not the time to gamble on new and struggling businesses. If you are a newbie, it is not the time to try your hands in the game of stocks either. The best option, if you have the capital or the means to get the capital, is franchising. Franchising refers to the methods of practicing and using another person's philosophy of business. I have always wanted to go into franchising. All I have to do is produce the capital and the franchisor will do the rest: the product, the service, the system, all presented on a silver platter. My friend acquired a franchise for a 24/7 outlet and she says it's doing fine. If I go into franchising, I'd definitely chose a Subway franchise. Great food. Good service. I wonder how much it costs?

I love Subway. I think it will be a good choice if you are venturing into franchising. It's still expanding here in Malaysia & I can definitely see the potential
ReplyDeleteacura: yes i know it would be a real good business venture. if only i could get the money for the capital.

ReplyDeleteHere is an interesting article on the three top franchise opportunities by industry. Not surprisingly they are all in the service industry (these type of services do not go away during economic downfall).

Out of these industries, the only franchise I would feel comfortable recommending is Camp Bow Wow.

With more families going to work, someone has got to take care of Fido.
If it was only that easy; Invest some money, and follow a proven system...
ReplyDeleteBefore you do this, I suggest looking deep down inside yourself, and make sure you have the right traits for franchise ownership. Please know this;
It was the franchise company's idea, not yours. You must do it all their way!
