Choosing the host city for the Olympics is not an easy feat. Any city wishing to stage the Olympics must submit a letter of application to the International Olympics Committee. The candidate cities sort of bid for the right to host the Olympics. The show and tell regarding technical assessment including government support, public opinion, general infrastructure, security, venues, accommodation and transport. This process of application and qualification takes more than a year to take.
The 2008 Olympics was bid upon by the cities of Istanbul, Osaka, Paris, Toronto and Beijing. The IOC decided on their final choice at the 112th IOC conference in Moscow in June 12, 2001. Yes, the host city is declared seven years prior to the actual hosting for ample time to prepare. Beijing, here I come! (I wish!)

huling! eto patulog na ko. may sakit na naman yata ako. ito kasing si unico hiko gave me scare last night. he asked me to fetch him at his apartment for he has been vomiting and has lbm. so at 9:30 Pm I left the house to get him at diliman( 30 km. away) then bring him to the ER and had him tested.
ReplyDeleteok na naman. he was slightly dehydrated and has as super duper acidic tummy that could lead to ulcers.
grabe. i found out too that he has not been eating breakfast kaya acidic tummy nya. ay naku..hirap talaga maging nanay...
