It is the theme slogan of the Beijing Olympics. One World One Dream fully expresses the universal values of the Olympic Spirit - Unity, Friendship, Progress, Harmony, Participation and Dream.
The Official Mascots of the Beijing Olympics are five aptly and fondly called FUWA. What is fuwa?. Fuwa was designed as five ( colors of the Olympic rings) playful children who are friends. Fuwa also embody the natural characteristics of four of China's most popular animals -- the Fish, the Panda, the Tibetan Antelope, the Swallow -- and the Olympic Flame.

Why the rhyming two-syllable names? In China, and in some Asian countries too, is a traditional way of expressing fondness to children. There must a bigger picture presented hidden in the chosen names of the Fuwa. Bei Jing Huan Ying Ni actually means Welcome to Beijing.
Very interesting to read...and the mascots are cute!
