  1. SPLICE AND DICE
     

    It depends. If the client wants that all sources to be academic or peer-reviewed journals and books, chances are the client does not want online sources. But if the client did not specify, usually I use online sources. But in doing so, I see to it that these online sources are credible sources nonetheless.

    As for me, I sometimes use Amazon.com for the books. There are certain books in Amazon.com that you can search inside and browse through the pages for free. You can use quotes from there.

    Most of the time I use JSTOR. It's like an online library of journals. It's not free, though.
