I have a splitting headache. I slept late last night and woke up pretty early. I guess I had about 3 hours sleep. I had to take my son to school to wrap up his enrollment. On our drive home, I had a heated discussion with one of my daughters through texting. My bad! Texting while driving. I was also feeling slightly dizzy from hunger. Combine all those, and a perfect headache trigger was formed.

There are actually two kinds of headaches: primary and secondary. Primary headaches include tension, migraine, and cluster headaches. These types are not caused by any underlying medical condition. Nearly 90 of all headaches that occur are primary. Unlike primary headaches, secondary headaches are secondary headaches are caused by medical conditions, such as infection or increased pressure in the skull due to a growing tumor. These account for a very small percentage of all headaches.

I think I'm having a tension headache.Tension headaches often begin in the back of the head and upper neck as a band-like tightness or pressure. The pain is also similar to a band of pressure encircling the head - much like a tight rubber band around my head- with the most intense pain over the eyebrows - much like someone poking my eye with a pointy thing. Okay! That's it! Out with the mefenamic acid. I cannot just take the generic brand though. I have to have the branded one for the generic one does not do me any good. No it's not psychological - most generics have lower dosage than the declared. Oh wait. I read that peppermint herb is a natural cure. Now where will I get that?

I wonder if Wrigley's spearmint gum will do?

  2. Hey...

Baket gising ka pa? tulog na at ng mawala ang headache mo.

I remember Manuel Uy but barely. I remember Ngongo though...tawa ko ng tawa when you mentioned ngongo. Kaiba talaga sa atin kasi sumikat si Ngongo...

Oo nga buti at walang nangyaring ganun sa akin. After realizing what I did...the opening of door and staring at them....I got scared.

    Oh well...one unforgettable experience.

    Pahinga na...
