For the past three months, there has been an influx of SPAM text messages and PHone calls on my mobile phone. The SMS are usually offers of cash loans and other related offers. The phone calls are of the same nature. I once asked the caller where he got my number. He said that it was on a bank's data base. I asked what bank, as bank are not suppose to give out private phone numbers, but he hung up. If you live in the Philippines and you are one of those constantly pestered by SPAM calls and messages, consider this.

REMINDER: all cell phone numbers are being released to telemarketing
companies tomorrow and you will start receiving sales calls.

YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THESE CALLS.

To prevent this, call the following number from your cell phone:

888-382-1222

It is the National DO NOT CALL list. It will only take a minute of your time.
It blocks your number for five (5) years. You must call from the cell phone
number you want to have blocked. You cannot call from a different phone
number.
