As promised, Debbie and Dana of Fil-Am Journey sent me some pictures of us while they were here in Manila. I picked the couple up at the Heritage Hotel and then had lunch at Mall of Asia. We were not able to hang out long for they had to catch the bus home to Debbie's hometown in Manaoag, Pangasinan. Prior to our meeting Debbie and I already talked over the phone. She sounded soft and sweet and meeting her personally confirmed my assessment of her. I was surprised that Dana knows a lot of Tagalog words - even swear words! Hahaha. He's so tall Debbie and I were dwarfed! He's one devoted and loving husband to Debbie though. They are both real lucky and blessed to have each other.

ReplyDeleteHow was your weekend?
Huling
kakainggit!
ReplyDelete@mommy J: ako nga na dito lang sa pinas, di pa nakikita ang kagandahan ni ate lena...
naisip ko tuloy bigla ang kapehan na ilang beses ko nang na-miss :D
@ empty streets: thanks for the tag. i'll get it later.
ReplyDelete@ cherry: anti-anxiety pills did the work! lol
@ rare*jonRez: yes, we had a fun time. it was nice to finally talk face to face with blogger friend.
@ huling: God willing next summer i'll be in NY. i'll go your place and debbie's.
@wena: oo nga eh. sa UP na lang tayo magkita pag available ka. kain na lang tayo ke mang jimmy's.
That's great that you've finally met, that's just the beauty of blogging - you meet and make friends from all over.
ReplyDeletetara! free ako mamya! hehehe joke!
ReplyDeletedi ko pa na-try kumain sa mang jimmy's. most probably, nasa UP ako first week of June for the enrolment.
Thank you so much Lena for the kind words, touched and flattered naman ako. I'll make sure Dana reads this when he gets back home from work tonight. But alam mo, sobrang natawa ako about Dana's Tagalog swear words....my fault, guilty ako! LOL.... What's funny is that it doesn't mean anything to him but I keep teaching him more and he's a very good student, madaling matuto, hehe!
ReplyDeleteOh btw, Dana's exact height is 6'3 and 3/4, almost 6'4 na, but everytime they ask about his height, I always say, 6'3 lang... Buti na lang he's so tall, nakita mo naman how short I am... Saka, ang gwapo niya no? ( Hope that makes you laugh )
Anyway, bloggers out there should meet you too so they'll know how nice you are! Sobrang maalaga pa! And ofcourse, so they'll see what a "true beauty" you are! NO kidding there!
Have a great week ahead!
Debbie :)
