In terms of attendance, my coffee date was not successful. Four bloggers opted out due to personal reasons, all legit. In terms of fun and the "quality" of bloggers who came, my coffee date was a smashing success.

Of course I was late! I came all the way from a Baptism in Cavite and had to tow along daughter #3 and Ethan with me too. At 3:10 P.M., Cherry texted me to send her a message when I've arrived - meaning she was already in the vicinity of the venue. At 3:20 P.M., Mike texted that he'll be late due to a meeting. At 3:30 P.M., eMz texted "where are you?" for she has arrived at the venue. By 3:40 P.M. I have parked my car and was already on my way to Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf at Greenbelt 3. I saw eMz and in a bit Cherry came with her 4-year old daughter. My! The two were pretty! Their beauty was not superficial based on their nosebleed-less blogs and their wit and humor while we conversed. We discussed a lot of things:blogs, blogging, bloggers and everything in between. Mike finally came and the conversation reached a new high. It was so nice to talk to people who are into the same passion.

Close to 7:00 P.M. I invited the three to dinner. The three refused for they have other commitments. As Cherry is celebrating her birthday on February 19 and I on March 11, we decided to have a joint celebration sometime in March.

The table is now open for reservations.

Amy Poehler is one of the better known American comedienne. A main stay of the popular Saturday Night Live for seven years she has also done several movies like Mean Girls, Blades of Glory, Scary Movie 2 and others. As of now, Amy, together with her two friends Meredith Walker and Amy Miles, has produced a digital series called called “Smart Girls at the Party.” The show focuses on young girls and how they can help change the world by simply being themselves. The series will be featuring girls of different ages and their own special way to show the world how well-rounded and talented they are and how can they take part in changing the world.

It is high time that quality shows like this are produced to encourage young girls of today to do their best so as to contribute positively to a changing world. Amy Poehler exudes charm, wit and humor in her interviews. Cozmo TV is well on its way in achieving its goal of introducing viewers to better television content. A lot of exposure is surely needed to get the message of Amy Poehler and her girls across the internet. If you are a parent, take a peek at the video and know for sure that the show is highly commendable. You can get your own widget here and help spread the word.

I know! My blog is indeed FABULOUS, the blogger, even more! Hahaha. Thank you Sheng of La Bubbly Chica for this award - my first this year.

Sheng said I have to pass this award to five other blogs and list down five addictions of mine. But, I've changed! I'm no longer a crackhead! Kidding. Here are some of the things I like but not to the point of addiction.

1. reading
2. ballroom dancing
3. watching my favorite shows
4. butterfinger
5. talking

I now pass this award to five really fantastic bloggers. Cherry,
eMz, Mike, Juliana and Huling. Hats off to these bloggers. They do not make my nose bleed.

Window shopping is a favorite past time of mine. I love to look at beautiful things: clothes, shoes, home decors, furniture, knick-knacks and what have you. Yesterday I went inside a discount lingerie store. There were thought-provoking and nothing-left-to-the-imagination pieces on sale. Lingerie in sexy black and hot red were on sale too. There were also pieces in more demure pink and innocent white that were both sweet and provocative. Lingerie items are doing brisk sale now. Valentine's Day is in the offing if you get my drift. Indeed.

I want to do something different. I want to do something crazy. I don't like being limited as to what I can or cannot do because of my age or because of what other people expect of and from me. I am not talking about doing something that would dramatically change my life. I am not talking about throwing all caution to the wind and let life take its course. I am talking about actively participating in a paintball game. Yes! Finally, daughter #3 and I located a paintball game venue where we could reserve the whole field for our play. Yey! We've been wanting to do this for the longest time but just can't seem to find the perfect place and time. The rent is inclusive of the paintball gear, a limited number of paintballs and paintball guns. We're currently "recruiting" players for the two teams we're forming. This would be such fun!
