Superfood

"Seriously?!" I exclaimed and asked my friend.

I was having a lazy day yesterday when my friend decided to drop by. She has with her a bottle of acai berry pill and was so over herself explaining the benefit of the pill. She said that it's the superfood now as Acai Berry can boost your energy levels, improve your digestive function, promote sound sleep, and shed pounds. It can even reduce cellulite. Wow! I asked my friend where she bought hers as I have to get one. Now!

Anime Fever

My son loves anime. His laptop is filled with anime downloads. I don't know what's so special about animes but do you know that there is actually a convention where anime fans can come as their favorite character? Anyway, my son's not into it but hey!....

Of Horses and Bikes

My eldest cousin on my mother's side, sent me an SMS message telling me that she's back from her trip to London. She left about a month ago with her husband and eldest granddaughter. The trip to London was part of her husband's annual "free" trip from the law firm he works in Right. Great. I have another lawyer cousin who enjoys the same benefit from his firm. I guess almost all law firms have the same perks. Anyway my cousin said she has a thing or two for me. She said she was not able to shop much for her main goal was to look and buy equestrian riding apparel for her granddaughter. Oh! And I didn't even know her granddaughter could ride... a horse. Well, Ethan could ride a... bike.

Sunday Afternoon Bit

My Sunday afternoon was spent pruning the garden and planting new greens. My garden is a total wreck what with Chuck ( the choco lab) traipsing about the place biting-eating-uprooting all my plants. I decided to buy new plants to fill the bald spots. I went to a plant nursery and chose the ones that I wanted. I was given a big discount by the owner for we've been doing business for the longest time. I filled the van with about 50 or so new plants, ready to be planted.

My son is planning to have a late-birthday party in our house on Sunday and I feel I need to spruce up the garden a bit. I did some digging and boy! does my back ache now. Since I was hell bent into "improving" the garden in one day, I decided to put up Christmas lights along the perimeter of the terrace up to the trellis in front of the house. I am beat. Laptop Bag Story

My son came home for the weekend lugging his dirty laundry. He deposited the laundry bag in the wash area and started to take out the dirty clothes with much care. I was about to ask him what the heck he was doing when he suddenly lifted out his laptop from the bag. My son broke his laptop bag.

The laptop bag bid its goodbye. My son's laptop bag goes with him everywhere. In the morning the bag hangs out by his side, through sun and rain, as he bikes to the university from his apartment. When in class, the laptop bag is left at the floor, momentarily forgotten by the owner and trampled upon by other feet. After class, the laptop bag goes to the gym and where it is left sitting in one corner as it awaits for its owner. The laptop bag endures MRT trips and bus rides. It even rode on a plane and a ship. It went to the beach, gallantly protecting the laptop inside from the sand. It has spent many hours sitting by my son's feet while my son "wifi's" at some eating or coffee place. The laptop bag has endured dirt and grime, and yes, a wash! It's time to browse the net for some real tough laptop bags. My son needs a laptop bag that is durable, functional, comfortable, stylish and guaranteed for life.
