I have not played the guitar for the longest time! Back in the days, I used to accompany myself with a guitar as I while-a-way the hours. My father gave me a beautiful-sounding Spanish guitar. I did only chords and that was quite satisfactory. My instrument is really the piano, but I can't very well carry a piano anywhere and anytime I feel like bursting into a song, can I?
One of my friends from church used to lug his electric guitar at every party. It was the 70s and it was quite funny to recall that this friend had to bring his amplifier wherever and whenever he and his Gibson guitar go. Anyway, not too long ago, I was able to chat with him online. I learned that he still actively plays his electric guitar, jamming with "old" friends. He said he now has a collection of wonderful Kramer Guitars that he sees to it get "played" every now and then.
