Our church has a different kind of fellowship last Sunday. In preparation for the coming Advent season, we held a "work" fellowship. Everyone was invited to clean the church after the services. The day before, the church custodian already bought the cleaning products and supplies needed. I also gave a swatch of colors for gallons of paint. As I scanned over the list of things to buy, I was stumped with the item cross blocks. Now, why do we need cross blocks in cleaning and repainting the church? I asked the custodian and he laughed. His bad. The item was for his personal list of things to buy.
