A recent bank regulation ruled that the issued checks will be processed the same day and that no amount of persuasion from the issuer that the check be put on hold even for a few minutes so the issuer can fund the issued check (in case bank deposit is insufficient) will NOT be entertained. Oh well, it's a good thing that there are now several options for making payments due to the convenience of electronic payments. The novelty feature is the additional service of ach check processing at ThePaymentsAuthority.org. Surely paying bills and getting paid get easier.
