My girls have been paying their monthly contribution to the Social Security System. I have no idea how much their contributions are but I guess the contribution is based on their monthly compensation. Is that right? I really would not know as one of the major boo-boos that I did was to stop my SSS contribution when I became a stay-at-home then a work-from-home mom. I should have continued my contribution! But! I didn't know any better back then. D2 has been telling me that most of her co-teachers are now enjoying their social security benefits by getting loans payable in 1 year. I wonder how much their loans are. I wonder if there is interest on an SSS loan.
