Bingo may well be one of the most popular board game ever invented. It's basically inexpensive, easy to learn, and can be played whenever, wherever, whatever. I have found memories of playing bingo with my playmates decades ago. We used corn grains to mark called numbers. Our Bingo cards were mostly soft and dog-eared due to usage. The Bingo numbers were all put in a plastic funnel to be shaken out one at a time and called out. B-10! calls the game master and in unison almost all the players will chant bitin-bibitin-bitin which sounds like B-10 but roughly means bitin in Filipino which means hanging. Our pot prize was usually... nothing! The honor of winning the game was more than enough.

Bingo games have evolved. Blowers and flashboards and hi-tech markers and cards are now used. The game is played in malls for pot prizes amounting to hundred thousands. Schools and Organizations hold Bingo games for fund raising. Last year my son won a machine washing in a Bingo game. My eldest daughter topped it by winning 15,000 Php in a single game of Bingo. I would like my grandson to experience the thrill of playing Bingo with us. I think I'd hope by Amazon.com and get Ethan a Screenlife Games' Disney Bingo DVD game. Ethan would definitely love this!
