My kids and I love to watch game shows. The sillier the game show, the better. Banzai is a Japanese TV series that dwells on absurd-funny-bizarre-outrageous stunts and gags. A gag or stunt is shown. The viewers would have to guess the outcome of the stunt. Who guesses it right wins. We loved it as we always had a good laugh.
Screen Life Game produced and created a DVD Banzai version with betting pieces so you could actually play it with your friends or family. Players will watch clips taken from the TV show and will bet with the included toy sushi. A sample stunt is 3 Michael Jackson wannabes were challenged to cross an ice rink doing the moonwalk. It’s funny how the narrator does his spiel – in a funny Japanese accent. Players are to guess who the winner will be as they place bets. Players have to use chopsticks to place their bets at the center bowl. The winner gets all the sushi. This DVD game is fun! You get to practice your intuition and your chopstick skills too!
The Banzai DVD game is available for purchase online. You might also want to check out Tako’s, the official octopus mascot, MySpace website – www.myspace.com/takotheocto.
